Another up-cycled item from Little Golden Books

I've been listing up-cycled items I've been creating in the last several posts I've written.  Well, I have another one for you - this one is different from the others.  The card is made from the front cover of the book and the 13 gift tags are created from the pages of the book telling the story with pictures.  The colors are so vibrant and rich.  This is the perfect combination for the Snow White or Princess themed birthday party. 

When I think of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs the first thing that comes to my mind is the song Heigh-Ho Heigh-Ho and the little guys with their shovels marching through the woods to go make their pay.  Just another ordinary day in their lives - not knowing that at the close of day things would not be so ordinary. It 's just a fairy tale, one we all remember well, about a princess who met her prince.  

When I was little I loved to color - I still do if I'm being honest with you.  I loved the coloring books with the princess and the prince, the queen and the king - remember the smell of the paper and crayons.    I first outlined all the lines and then lightly colored in the spaces being careful to not go outside the lines.  I knew even back then that I loved creating and working with colors and papers.
